The state institution "TMA of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Ternopil region", says its head Mykhailo Vasylyshyn, is provided with everything necessary for the preparation and conduct of vaccinations.

 

- The Health Department of the RSA allocated us 190 doses of the Covishield AstraZeneca vaccine in three stages. After distribution, we received another 1160 doses of CoronaVac from China. We are provided with everything we need. Three mobile medical teams have been formed and are working.

 

Vaccination is voluntary and also depends on the number of doses available. In three weeks, 160 employees of the National Police, the National Guard, the Patrol Police, the Service Center, and the State Migration Service received the Covid-19 vaccine. Everything happens according to clearly formed lists, as well as after a mandatory examination by a doctor.

 

- Contraindications are severe allergic reaction to the previous vaccine, allergic reaction to vaccine components, and fever. If it is higher than 38.5, it is a contraindication. In addition, our patients sign information consents, and before that, we test them with rapid antigen tests. Before vaccination, everyone is examined by a physician, - the deputy head of the hospital (with a polyclinic) Natalia Rubinska said.

 

After vaccination, doctors monitor the patient for thirty minutes. The therapist monitors the well-being of the vaccinated person for the next 28 days.

 

- After vaccination, fever, nausea, headache, pain at the injection site and drowsiness may occur the next day or two days later. This is a reaction to the vaccination - it is not a side effect. It goes away in 2 days.

 

 

The decision to get vaccinated against coronavirus was made by Yaroslav Huska, the head of the technical information protection sector of the Main Office of the National Police in the Ternopil region. Before going for the procedure, he analyzed in detail the posts on the Internet and listened to the recommendations of doctors.

 

 

- I come into contact with the public during the performance of my duties during quarantine measures and while working in Ternopil. I can say that the vaccine is not bad, there are no bad reviews and I believe that it is necessary to be vaccinated. I have a family and my wife also wants to be vaccinated.

 

 

After all willing law enforcement officers are vaccinated, their families will be able to get vaccinated as well.

Medical workers of the departmental hospital believe that vaccination is necessary because in the future it will reduce the number of patients.
