Outpatient reception of patients with diseases of the otolaryngological profile is carried out, as well as examination by an otolaryngologist of candidates for service or study sent through the M(MM)C line, for hiring, for medical examinations to obtain a driver's medical certificate or a permit system.
The following manipulations are performed:
• Stopping nosebleeds.
• Purge the Eustachian tubes.
• Removal of foreign bodies from the pharynx, nose, and external auditory canal.
• Anemization of the superficial vessels of the nose.
• Study of the vestibular apparatus on the Barani chair.
• Taking swabs from the nose, throat, and ear for bacteriological examination.
Diagnostics of the pathology of the nose and its paranasal sinuses, ear, pharynx, larynx, and hearing acuity are carried out. The referral of patients to consultative or inpatient treatment in highly specialized departments of other medical institutions is carried out.
