Ophtalmology cabinet

Secondary specialized care is provided on an outpatient basis for ophthalmic patients, as well as for those with traumatic eye injuries.
The following diagnostic methods of examination and manipulation are carried out:
• Study of visual acuity for distance and near.
• Examination of peripheral vision (perimetry) of the retina.
• Review with lateral illumination of the eyelids, conjunctiva, and anterior part of the eye.
• Determination of refraction.
• Tonometry.
• Review and functional tests of the lacrimal apparatus.
• Direct and reverse ophthalmoscopy.
• Determination of color perception.
• Removal of superficial foreign bodies of the skin of the eyelids, conjunctiva, and cornea.
• Conducting pidconjunctival and peribulbar injections.
The referral of patients for consultative or inpatient treatment to the specialized department of the KNS "Ternopil University Hospital" is carried out, the management of patients in the pre- and postoperative periods.
