The main task of the outpatient psychiatric care office is to provide qualified outpatient psychiatric care to police officers, employees of territorial bodies and units of the National Police, institutions and establishments subordinated to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine, their family members, pensioners of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Police of Ukraine.
Psychiatrists of the APD office conduct periodic psychiatric and preventive drug examinations of police officers, candidates for service in the National Police, applicants to educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine, including for the purpose of military medical examination. Outpatient psychiatric, psychotherapeutic and psychocorrectional assistance is provided to persons eligible for medical care, including persons who have been in extreme situations, including ATO/JFO participants.
